Thread: Your Help is NEEDED!

Yes, that’s right we need your help.

Some of you might have noticed that this site has been slipping the last few weeks and I have a very good reason for that. The fact is I have too much to do, most of you have this summer off, but for me, my work has almost tripled and it’s been hard to find time to work on this site.

What do we need?
I need people to download updates either daily or every other day and upload them to the FTP server.

What do you need to do this job?
You need to know how to use IRC.
You need to know how to use FTP so you can upload files.
A fast internet connection (Cable/DSL).

I asked for help a long time ago, and I received something like 30 applications, but only two of those people really worked out, the other people did not have enough time or just did not do it.

If you are really interested in helping and can dedicated a few hours of time every other day, please reply to this thread with your AIM/MSN screen name.

I would like to help. Just let me know the details... I'm always getting the new releases anyway...

If you are serious, yes, I could teach you.

Just wondering... what kinds of skills would we need for IRC? Would we just need to know the basics, or do we need to know how to use f-servs and all that? I'd be interested in helping (although I don't know how to use FTP, I'd be interested in learning), though. ^_^

Hey, perhaps I can help you. I have more or less 260 different series downloaded, and studied Computer Ingeniering on University. If it not to much work, perhaps I can help. At the end, most of the series I got are from here... The bad stuuf:

- I post from spain (Europe), but whit ADSL connection.

- I am working too on summer. No much time to waste, you see, or my madness will reach the limmit.

Why not you post down here what you need, kiddo? Perhaps we could tell you more exactly if we can. Or whatever.

I'm very serious about this. I have work on Tuesday and Thursday where I am. Otherwise, I usually am free.

I would also like to help however I can. I can use IRC, and will try to learn how to use ftp. My summer is pretty free except in the late morning and afternoons(work, you love it and hate it at the same time).

I know enough about IRC to get by, and I can probably pick up FTP (if I don't already know it) quickly.

Teach me FTP, and I'll happily help, or I can teach others to use IRC.

I'll help out as best I can, but I'm extremely busy for the next few days (moving into an apartment, getting a job, etc, not fun)

If there's someone here who knows FTP and not IRC, pm me with your MSN/AIM, and I should be online around 10 pm EST and all the way until I get too tired to sit in front of the keyboard anymore, and we can learn from each other.
