Thread: Fullmetal Alchemist Conqueror of Shamballa and FMA: Brotherhood?

Okay I turn to you guys for spoiler free answers. I found it hard to get into the original Fullmetal Alchemist series. That's just me personally. A friend of mine told me to check out FMA: Brotherhood. So I'm going to. I did a little research and figured out that Brotherhood's movie, The Sacred Star of Milos, takes place right after episode 20 of FMA: Brotherhood. I know the series has 2 different endings. I was going to just go ahead and skip the first series. Skip straight to the more fast paced, true to the manga Brotherhood. I hate to not watch the first movie though. So without spoilers can the movie still fit in with the Brotherhood remake or are the endings just too different? And if it can fit in should I watch it after the series Brotherhood or somewhere in between episodes? Please help!

I didn't have trouble following the Brotherhood series without seeing the movie. But then, I'd been following the manga since long time before.
