Damn I'm with you dna2. Penguindrum was really good up until the incest at the end. Why are Japanese people so damn perverted
Right! This is the second best anime (so far) that I'll be watching after sacred seven. Who care about it being incest, or r u sure they are even brother and sister?

I'm going to continue watching No.6 since the manga is interesting.
Blood-C will be dropped.
According to what I've read on various forums there is definitely boy love in that show.

I'm really hoping their not blood related in that penguin show. If they are I'm definitely gonna drop it. Which would be sad since it's so interesting.
I must be a bad person because I don't want to watch a show about two gay boys. It really wouldn't matter to me if they were but I don't like watching romance stories.
And Penguindrum is something I am likely going to drop because of the end.
Damn weirdo Japanese animators. I'm surprised they don't get fined for this shit
Massive overreactions much? Not like there's never been a fictional story with a similar romance(if they're even really blood related to begin with or an actual romance). Should be fined...? Cry me a river. Jebus.
I watched that show just cause of how outraged you were about it. It's not that bad, it's not official if they're even related by blood, and even if they were, not set in stone that's it's going to be reciprocated by the sister or that she even knows at this point. Either way you could just, you know, not watch it. It's not going to harm you or your life if you just ignore it and it's not going to start some incest anime trend from what I'm seeing.
I hate yaoi, but I don't cry about it or think that it should be against the law just cause I'm disgusted by it. I could do without hentai too, but honestly I don't see the point in caring for what doesn't affect me directly. Not your cup of tea? Don't watch it. It's that simple bro. Hell, I've seen worse animes than this. Oh and considering you're not even paying to watch this why does it matter? Yeah, I'm sure they should care what you think.
Watched Blood C, was meh.
Same with Usagi Drop. Was just ok but slightly better.
Mawaru Penguindrum was interesting I guess. Not sure how it will end but it's more interesting than anything else I've watched.
Outraged? lol? k.
I said both stories were fine and I just didn't want to sit through the rest of the series if that's what they were going to involve. Let's be honest here the incest in the story is to grab your attention and it's not necessary. And finally, I don't know why you're so upset with me if I have nothing to do with your preference or anything.
Here I was just giving my opinion on an anime I just watched. ( taken back)
Also read what I wrote. I said I was surprised they aren't fined for airing a show about incest between two younger people. Didn't Japan recently pass a law that prohibits animes about teenagers in bad situations or something close to that?
Again, I was never outraged I was only surprised. I never said anything negative, cried or made it seem like it's the end of the world. Gay people don't bother me and I even said it was a decent show. I said I didn't want to watch a romance story. It could have been the romance between a guy and a girl and would have made me lose interest
For Penguindrum all I said was it was interesting up until the end and that Japanese animators are perverted. So yeahh, so completely misinterpreted

Simply pointing out how silly your outrage is over something that you're not paying for, nor affects you directly in life in any negative way other than you wasting roughly 30 minutes of your life. Plus its the same as a leech complaining about something he's not paying for, which is annoying. I'm not being a bitch here, just telling you that you're crying over nothing and making it seem as though it's the end of the world or something. I didn't care until you felt the need to repeat your feeling of disgust about one thing, which turns out wasn't so crazy or outrageous as you made it seemed.
Also, it's banned in Tokyo... So they won't get charged for anything unless it was aired there. Just a guess, but I'm gonna say the people who recorded the episode probably aren't in Tokyo.
I edited my post above but would also like to say that if a leech can't give out an opinion, positive or negative, what's the point of forums and such? Discussion. It's not like I'm trying to start a revolution or force everyone to stop watching/reading things
Discussing whether you like or hate something is one thing, but saying they should be fined without thinking things through and that they're a bunch of perverts is another thing. Those are the things I directed my comments towards. Not your feelings about the gay stuff either. As for leechers having an opinion, I just find it dumb that they get angry over something as though they paid for it and say silly things without thinking it through.
Do I think you have a reason not to like what happened at the end? Sure. Do I think all the things you said in reaction to it were justified? Not really.
I didn't like that part at the end of the episode either, but while watching it there were obvious indications that both the brothers loves their little sister a lot. Even if it didn't happen at all, there was lots of hints that they both had really strong feelings for their sister and that it was possibly more than that of a sibling.
I have no idea what the show is really about, but it looks more focused on comedy and aliens or whatever those things are than some kind of romance show.
Guys, lets not digress into a flame war. First of all, we're here to discuss shows from a critical perspective, so it's not wrong to dislike an aspect of a show (whatever the reason. I'm not homophobic, but I don't want to watch a show about homosexuality, there's nothing wrong with that). In that vein, complaining about a show you pirated is fine as long as it is done from a critical perspective.
If Yazen feels that the incest scene was gratuitous and only served as some fanservice to hook the viewers then he is welcome to express that observation and everyone is welcome to challenge that observation with their own, but please try and keep it objective (I haven't seen it yet, so I can't form an opinion just yet).
That's a really inflammatory thing to say even in jest and despite what you said after it. I think what you meant to say was: "I don't think I'll watch this show, the BL genre doesn't appeal to me."

Also, incest has been done before, Yosuga no Sora was almost entirely about an incestuous relationship if I've heard right.
That's also quite inflammatory dude.

Also Yazen, please don't resort to name calling like that (yes, I can see your edits, both of them ;p), it only weakens your position if you can't make an argument without insults.
Back to this season, has anyone seen Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, it's too early to tell, but I'm definitely getting that Aria vibe from it. And the cuteness overload almost gave me a heart attack lol.
Loli no liek cheese. XD
