Default Anime Reactor Recommended Watches for the 2010 Awards

Yip it's that time of year again, if you're interested at participating and voting for your favorite Animes of 2010 to win awards, I suggest you follow the Anime reactor Forums.

I'm not sure but I guess you'll be able to pick nominations but more importantly you should be able to vote once the nominations have been confirmed, until then a list of anime not recommend by me to help you make comprehensive decision on your votes.

If not you can wait and I'll post a link to see who wins anime of the year and etc...

I see you've posted this over at jcafe too now. I'll reply here.

I'm always amused by some of the entries. I mean, seriously, another Ikkitousen? I know that the ecchi group needs some entries, but it can't be that starved.

It's also sad to see things there that you hoped would be okay. I thought that King of Thorn would be better. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the manga.

What is Cat Shit One doing there? I thought that only one episode has been made. Hmmm.

Anyways, thanks Knite. I'll pop over there and cast my vote sometime or other.

I can't say anything about the other categories of anime but I hope Angel Beats! win Best OST.

The minimum number of nominees per categories is 4 and maximum is 10, I dunno how shows are nominated, although some shows may not deserve a nomination but maybe fit into a category with my little competition perfectly and it is added anyway especially if another show should win an award for a particular category but wouldn't win otherwise because it didn't have enough nominees to compete with.

I personally don't know why any shows are nominated but if your curious enough you can ask the jury yourself, I'm not sure which thread though you'd have to look it up at the very least you can PM one of them.

No Milky Holmes. This makes 2ch sad. XD
Honestly, I've never really found anime rankings or even popularities to be very accurate according to own personal tastes.
They're still nice to have though.

I don't see their merit, fandom cliques tend to be quite stark in my opinion. While they may indicate the show's quality in a given genre, they aren't a very good indication of whether you might like it or not.

Nah, there are other in the list that I haven't seen or heard, and they might be to my liking too.

I know popular doesn't equal good but I find it as a good method to check out anime I've missed or ignored during the year.

HEY this anime won so and so, it might be worth trying out.

there are anime that have won awards that i found terrible like Kaiba :S....

because there is some truely good stuff that i entirely missed out on, that i may not want to miss out on.
