So basically the main difference between the last ADV release and this new one is new subs provided by Crunchyshit and they're using different dubs for the english VA's.

Although the original release is superior (even though I don't give a rat's patooty about the English dub), Crunchyroll will probably have crappy subs, I think it is worth buying considering how much I loved the movie and I hope that if none of you have bought it yet you will now. The release date is still TBA but I placed an order already, and I don't know if it'll be a super short print like the first time around.

Either way, I'll be getting it and it's just one more thing to cross off my list to add to my collection. I've already placed my preorder.

Oh and I also order Tokyo Godfathers, which should be here some time tomorrow, Basilisk DVD set, Perfect Blue, and Millennium Actress. =D

I do buy anime - or at least I used to. It's been a while. When I lived the the UK, I bought stuff, but it's a real mission now. Generally I go for the box sets, but have bought things single dvds at a time.

Anime owned:
GITS1&2, Eva, Gasaraki, RahXephon, Gantz (why?), Tokyo Underground, Negima, Ikkitousen (yeah, sorry), Final Fantasy (a gift), Full Metal Panic, Burn Up, Excel Saga, Excaflowne, Elfen Lied, Ah my Goddess, Hack Sign, Nadesico, Chobits, Hellsing,
And quite a few assorted movies - Akira, Spirited Away, Mononoke, Place promised in our distance past, Girl who leapt through time, Paprika, assorted ones relating to series (like RahXephon movies)

There is probably more, I just can't remember them right now.

Other than that, I do buy some manga - Eva, FMA, Excel Saga and Negima. Those are my ongoing ones. Have a few completed series.

I've also got some figurines lying around. It's mainly the usual collection of assorted Final Fantasy and Eva figurines. Only have 1 really big one - a Haruhi that's about a foot high - of her in her bunny suit. It's pretty cool.

How many of those series did you buy the complete set of?

Oh, those are the ones where I own the whole set. Of those listed there 5 were in happy little box-sets. The rest were individual dvds where I just bought all the ones in the series.

@Stuy: I buy the Excel Saga manga too. I don't think its getting scanlated either.

One thing that I'll give the translators with Excel is that they do a good job with the jokes and stuff and the explanations. It's not the easiest genre for them to translate.

I have a few hundred dollars worth of artbooks and illustration booklets that look like anime/manga but mostly aren't related to any anime or manga.
Mostly things like artworks of Naru Nanao and other visual novel illustrators.
I have an old gallery of 2 stick poster binders that are good examples of the type of artworks I have.

I might just be crazy enough to to go buy something to do with Milky Holmes this month though.

I hear that all the Milky Holmes DVD (or was it BD?) releases in Japan are packaged with nendoroid petit figures.
