For now, my sis and I haven't finalize what we WILL watch of the Fall Anime, but we will definitely dropped Star Driver, and Bakuman.
For those who watch these two, you can say your opinion at the other thread [How good is/are this/these?]
Err, people are welcome to discuss those series here (although dedicated threads would be better). The other thread is for asking about series which you wish to know about (probably with a view to watching them).
Index 2: did not disappoint! I don't know where to begin on how good they started off. Definitely following this one!
Fortune Arterial: The first episode made me think this series came from a visual novel (eroge?) than a manga. The story hasn't begun so I really can't say anything about it yet.
I'm disappointed nobody is talking about Togainu no Chi. Looks like a great series.
bakuman I'll be watching for sure. I'm already reading the manga so I know it'll be good.
Not sure about the other stuff yet, since I've yet to start watching anything else.
I kid about Togainu no Faggu
I'm watching Togainu no Chi. First impression on the first episode? Mmmm.....It's like watching Kotetsu Sangokushi - some proportion on the character design suck a bit - but I'm going to watch the anime, anyway since I've been waiting for it for a long time and since I've know of the game.
LOL! just saw Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru and it was great! Nicely animated by Shaft!
I laughed and felt a bit sorry for the guy at the end xD
I watched that last night, I wasn't too impressed to be honest. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't as good as it could have been.
I really really liked Ore no Imouto, I was half expecting it to be some moeshit (and to be fair, the possibility is still there), but instead the two main characters were really well fleshed out. The brother sister relationship felt very real and the way Kirino was tentative about entering the otaku community was very convincing. I also really like how Kyousuke is very down to earth, and his dry wit is very funny. The animation quality is also superb and the voice acting (at least of the two main characters) feels very natural.
I 'm really not keen on Star Driver after watching the second episode. The show is just a load of nonsense that is trying too hard to be the next Gurren Lagan, i'll give it until the next episode, but I think I'll end up dropping this.
Star Driver = FABULOUS(Shit(Gurren Lagan + Cliché))
SRWOG - The Inspector is big disappointment, the previous series was good because it wasn't terribly drawn out like Gundam is, it had a fast paced story (and a lot of variety) and didn't take itself too seriously in the beginning which allowed the viewer to settle down and get to know the characters before everything kicked off.
This series (after just two episodes) seems to be bordering the fantastic and ridiculous. We're two episodes in and already we've encountered legendary magical super robots. The show assumes you know everything from the last series and so skips of most of the plot development in favour of explosive battles (which is fair, but leaves the show lacking in exposition). I would like to say the animation is high quality, but the show suffers from what I call boobism. It's incredibly annoying when most of the women are depicted as bouncing boobies on legs (an exaggeration) and the way said tits bounce, twitch and wobble despite no external force being applied; which is a shame because the characters would be very likable otherwise. The ED credits also seems to be used just as an excuse for gratuitous fanservice and it really lowers the tone of the show.
I want to like this show, but Japan's obsession with overuse of fanservice makes it very difficult for what would otherwise be a fairly decent show. Its one saving grace is that the problems aren't as bad as they were in HOTD.
Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru makes me imagine Natsu no Arashi. The storyline portrayal and the gag is quite similar. The main character is even from Natsu no Arashi (who voiced the reverse trap character named Jin).
Anyone watching Milky Holmes? I heard it was a 'moe' version of Sherlock Holmes, not that I'm interested in watching it. Too kiddies for me.
Hmm so I'm the only one who was impressed with Soredemo Machi? I like the animation style that Shaft did with it and the slapstick jokes; A maid cafe that has no idea what a maid cafe should be, A closet-maid fan teacher and the relationships of the characters (who likes who). I specially like how the teacher figured out about their part-time job. xD
I saw it and I didn't like it. Just as you said, it was pretty childish.

you mean Jun, the problem is that I keep thinking of the voice as a girly boy's (Jun's) voice even though I know the charaters and the VA are female. Same VA as P-Ko in Arakawa Under The Bridge.
