Summer 2010 Anime List – June/July/August

Only 18 anime confirmed so far

Personally not looking forward to anything... anyone here have any recommendation for the summer, well winter for me since I live in the Southern hemisphere lol.

The one that I'm very much looking forward to is High School of the dead

Seikimatsu Occult no Gakuin sounds interesting and my brother likes Nurarihyon no Mago a lot (I haven't read it yet though) so I'm going to check this one out as well.

I'm looking forward to Strike witches 2, if you can look past the obvious fanserivce, the first season was quite endearing. I don't see how there can be a second season though.

Seikimatsu Ocult gakuin looks interesting. I'm hoping for a bit of dry wit, Bakemonogatari style.

I'll give School of the dead a try.

Nakamatatchi looks like its going to be another tsundere show like Toradora. I'd bet money that Rie kugimiya is one of the VAs. Will steer well clear of this.

In all another dry season.

Well I'm totally looking forward for the 2nd season of Sekirei =D

Does season 1 have anything akin to "plot"? Haven't seen it. "Pantsless loli" doesn't fall on my strike zone.

Lead female's VA is Kuroko from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. Desu-no.

I'd have to agree. Here's to hoping a hidden gem among those actually reveals itself.

Hmmm... maybe the Seitokai Yakuindomo series might turn out to be a nice surprise. School council series are a dime a dozen, but there's always a chance for something fresh to turn up. That's the only series in the whole lot which I'll be interested in, anyway.

Oh god, ANOTHER season of Digimon? I loved the first two seasons, but they should have abandoned ship a long time ago...

Yes, its not half arsed enough to be dull or patronising but its not serious enough to take away from the fun of the series. It's the characters that bring the show to life.
