So has anyone been following Durarara up until now?

I have. Last few episodes were pretty interesting. I'm glad it's not ending in 12 like baccano!

Many poeple find it more interesting than baccano, which I find surprising. I see it as a bit more dull. It's like they try giving more screen time for each character, which doesn't quite end up working since it looks as if they just wanna get stuff out of the way.
and I'm dissappointed thye kinda left kida out of everything. meh..

do u know how may episodes they are planning? heard the 13th is supposed to be a time skip of a couple of months.

no. figured 24-26 episodes. I definitely like baccano! more so far, but this isn't bad either. The pacing kinda sucks tho

I'm still watching it, and personally I like it way more than Buccano. Though just to be clear, I actually hated Baccano, and I was pretty skeptical about this series since a bunch of their characters are similar with Durarara. The only thing I liked about Baccano was Issac and Maria which was awesome since they appeared in the last episode. Overall, I actually like Durara and find there characters appealing.

Anywho, gotta agree that Working! seems run of the mill. I'll watch a few more episodes to see if I really want to continue watching.

Just got the episode of HeroMan so I'll see what that's all about.

I watched 1/3rd of the Eden of the East movie which was just as confusing as the series, though I was entertained. I will finish it when I get more time.

Can't wait for a few other series.

Hmm so far my reactions on the new series:

K-On!! <- I downloaded the anime and got a hentai instead (April fools) xD

Working <- Not bad but still hoping that it will get better.

Angel Beats <- I like the first episode and will be following it. I don't care if the heroine looks a lot like Haruhi. It's fun to watch.

Ichiban ushiro no dai maou <- Definitely surprised me as I didn't like the manga that much but it was well animated. Hopefully they won't use too much fanservice as they did with Kampfer.

Just watched the first episode of Angel Beats. So what if it's like Haruhi? :) It's just plain entertaining. The plot makes about as much sense as Haruhi's twisted mind, but who cares? The pacing is good, and they've thrown in a lot of interesting elements guaranteed to hook viewers. About the only thing I haven't seen so far is an obviously moe character. The video game vibe is hilarious... reminds me of some of Clannad's best moments. 100-Hit Kill FTW!

Definitely going to be following this. 13 episodes should be about right. Keep it short and sweet.
