    Default Aoi Hana

    Description
Fumi and Akira were best friends when they were little, with Akira always looking after the crybaby Fumi, but that all ended when Fumi's family moved away. Several years later, Fumi's family returned, and she and Akira happened to bump into each other on their way to school. They became friends again, quickly slipping back into old patterns. Shortly after, Fumi began dating a cool, attractive upperclassman who, coincidentally enough, had ties to Akira's current school, the prestigious Fujigaya Girls' Academy.

I wouldn't really call this yuri, since there aren't any explicit sexual interaction between characters. Discounting Fumi's tendencies (by itself doesn't hold enough basis for yuri), I'd categorize this as shoujo-ai.

Read the manga. Has first 7 episodes. Still waiting for Sasameki Koto.

since when does it have to be explicit to be yuri?

It's classified as yuri in Japan, which doesn't have the term "shoujo ai" (or any equivalent) as used in the west -- everything from schoolgirl admiration to girl-on-girl pr0n gets called yuri.

That said, while I follow the manga, I haven't gotten around to watching the series yet.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.
