Thread: Late Release

Hi all this is my first post but anyway. I wanted to ask why Air Gear releases are so late... The last release it was 3 weeks ago I think. (I dont remember well) Plz if Kuu scans (which by the way Rocks) have stopped post someone elses releases. Tnx for reading.

yesh. There hasn't been any air gear scanlations for awhile. There are only two groups working on it: Kuu-Scans and Sora Scans. I think Kuu is running low on staff at the moment so their high quality releases are taking awhile. And the translator for sora scans is taking a break or something (can't remember now) so they havent been able to release anything for the last 2-3 weeks or so...

Just go to their websites occasionally to check up on their status :3

ps. should del rey start releasing the US. edition of the manga with 2/3 vol. every 3 months instead of just 1.

I think they should do that until they get close to the Japan releases, then they can go back to 1 a month.

You best not be complaining.
Complaining about release speeds is a cardinal sin. The scanlators are doing it in their spare time for free, so no one has the right to complain about them.

whew! i thought they had stopp translating alltogether. I hope they start back soon thanks kalogias

He obviously wasn’t complaining. No one really does, they just cry and whine because they can’t read their favorite series and not because scanlators are taking a long time.

ya. I think del rey should have faster releases. At the rate they're going now, it'll take about 4 years before they catch up to where the japanese volumes are now T.T sniff.

lol @ blowing it outta proportion.

I personally think it sucks that the Air Gear community is dependent on only two groups. I'd love to see more groups pop up. Along with the added exposure the series would get, i think it would increase the speed of releases and i think the more fans that pop up, the better the discussion and theories. Right now, i think AG suffers from a lack of translators across the whole community. I know that both Sora and Kuu are both reliant on a single translator.

I doubt Air gear will ever be that popular. It's just not that good.

I'm not sure how you work that out. I read Naruto, Bleach, Reborn!, One Piece and a bunch of others and it's only in the last two weeks that any of the above have got back on par with Air Gear, and Air Gear was going through a lull.
