Don't be so sure yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they purposely broadcast their strategy to screw with the other team and have some backup plan in mind. Ikki's specific inclusion of Onigiri especially makes me think there's something else up their sleeve.

Plus...I don't know about foul play, but Kogarasumaru's made a pretty solid habit of winning through violence >_>
