I believe its more like, Sora is naive, not evil. Unlike Kilik, he didn't get to see that notebook of deaths and such all over the regalia. While Kilik knows of the dangers of having the regalia out, Sora thinks that the regalia would never be used for evil.

naive or stupid are more troublesome than evil ppl, but the fact remains that sora uses his friends for his own personal greed making him selfish thus resulting him being failure

Rika has the Sora glasses on. Kilik knows that Sora is just a greedy bastard now after reading that police report. She is completely in love with Sora and is blind to his faults, as is the rest of the original Sleeping Forest. They want everybody to be able to fly in the sky freely, but Sora wants the sky regalia to control all of AT.

He's the official dick of Air Gear now, he just usurpped Kilik.

I would agree with you if Sora didn't hide so much info from Kilik and if he wasn't indifferent to all the innocent peoples' deaths.
