I was wondering if Ikki was a gravity child myself but I don't think he is. I mean he's never ridden A-Ts before he met the Skull Saders (or whatever the name of that team in the first volume was) and he didn't recall the feeling of having been under that kind of gravity before.

Ume was a gravity child while she was a baby, so you don't become one just because you have rid under zero gravity and and were used to ATs. I still think that Ikki might be something similar since there are some hints of him being unique and stuff.

imo, i dont think ikki is a gravity kid. As for reasons why? I dont have any...ahahha.

Maybe because his Dad was one of the scientists or whatever working on the Grav Kids.

I think Ikki might have been put there for protection, either way. He protects the Noyamano's (the younger siblings) or they were to protect him. But since they haven't heard from Uncle Minami for a while, they missed out on where he says that Ikki's supposed to do AT. So Rika doesn't allow him to do it until they have their battle in volume 6 or whenever it was. That and you don't have Sora whispering in her ear about having Ikki start like the other three girls.
