Thread: Air Treck 10 years after the events in Air Gear (please don't post spoilers)

After 10 years in Air Gear, people would just ride AT normally. No more battles. No more kings/queens. Quite like inline skates, but only you can get to work faster

do not post spoilers. just some general thoughts about what's going to happen to AT.

Ikki has organized the A-T World Cup and the whole world competes in it every year.
Kogarasumaru has become a super team like Genesis and Sleeping Forest, with what Ikki thinks are the best teams from around the world.

Now that I think about it, are there really only 8 kings? Since there's what
-Wind King
-Rumble king
-Lightning/Magnetism king
-Flame king
-Horn king (guy from Sleeping Forest who fought Aeon Clock)
-Gem King (Kilik)
-Thorn queen
-Water queen
-Fang king
-Pledge queen(Tool Toul To <-- does it count?)

It was mentioned earlier about the 8 kings but that's 10 right there. Maybe there's only 8 official kings of the Tropheum or only 8 regalias. Even so that means all 8 are in Japan a pretty small country and no where else in the world? :/

There are many kings but the original Sleeping Forest are considered from the purest roads. But there are many Kings and Regalia, not just the 10 you have there. Also because the story is centered on Japan we don't know the situation elsewhere, or how far they have developed. What we can gather though is that it isn't as big elsewhere and so the King/regalia situation isn't the same.

A few other points, arn't the regalia made (and designed for the first to weild it) for the specific king's field? Like Spitfire and Rika and Sora were the original kings of their fields and Tool Toul To made the regalia for them. If T.T.T. had other branches in other countries it would make sense that they have other kings/regalias. Also the old Sleeping Forest (with Sora as head) was the one that had 8 kings? I really want to know where I heard the number 8 and why it seems to be so important.

Was it just because of the 8 that existed at the time? The 8 of Sleeping Forest? The 8 that are the guardians of the Tropheum?
