Yeah but we're talking about art here. When do you think someone is better at drawing, when they've just started out or after they've been practising for years? Like Vphamv said, oh great started TenTen 4 something years before airgear and it shows like a bitch for at least the first 3 volumes.

if i have to compare, TT is a few steps ahead for me.
but if i have to say it, Oh!Great's artwork is no big deal, really. sure, its awesome, but not the best. yeah, i'm being an arse, coffee ran out this morning......
Do I have to?
^ I agree with you. He really needs to work on his page layout, the dialogue pages have far too much crammed into them and the action pages usually don't have enough. Even if the level of detail is impressive to say the least.
Tenjou Tenge was created almost 5 years before AG. If you look at TT alone, you'll notice that the artwork evolves drastically from the semi-crappy quality at the start of the manga to the goodness it is now. AG has been consistently good quality, but there aren't as many beautiful shots in AG as TT (for me at least).
In the file where I keep manga pages that I want to convert to sigs, i have over 20 pages from TT and about 5 from AG.
if you know a manga that has better art work than ag and tt then i would be really interested in seeing it, cause o/g's art work is some of the best iv ever seen

His character design is good and unique to him but not the best, his capture of motion/action, unsurpassed.
He just kinda sucks at drawing ears imo, I wanna sit him down and give him some pointers on the ears so badly.
I love his art and I feel I have to defend him!
Oh I can actually draw, so I'm not just talking out my browneye.

Miwa Shirow's Dogs. Hiroaki Samura's ..... well, y'know. Nihei Tsutomu's Blame! (among others).

Guys, as much as you hate Death Note, TAKESHI OBATA CAN draw, and he does it AMAZINGLY.
Maybe OH! Great's artwork have more appeal to you guys due to its young and energetic content but in terms of expressions, details, types of characters and sometimes even background & environment, Takeshi Obata is still MUCH better than OH! Great. I have Obata's artbook for both Death Note and Hikaru No Go and I was truly gobsmacked by that guy's skill. Get it if you don't believe me. Read his latest manga Blue Dragon if you still not convinced yet.
All in all, I'm not saying OH! Great's a bad artist or anything, BUT, as much as you guys disagree, he is definitely not the best.
Back to topic. After reading the last chapter of TT, I am 100% convinced that TT's art is (currently) better than Air Gear's.
