Ok, ok normal band engines woldnt do. But my engine is not some from a band, i constructed it my self. As told i am a elektro engeiner, well i will bi in a year. i calculated just loike you, and the fors did not fit at all. So i did the foloving. the DC motor is just a for speding up at higher speads when your weight cant do it any more.
Basic physics dictate that it's a fake. 80kg to 60kmph in 50m require an acceleration of 2.8m/s^2 and a force of 224N to achieve that..
Now then calculating for power consumption. In a ideal frictionless world, it would take 6s to hit full speed. In terms of watts, the power required would be 1866W.. Assuming that you could find a compact dc drive to kick out that kind of power, the batteries alone would be the size of your ass to even get out the door since the best batteries in the world only contain 150-190Wh/kg.
That in terms of playtime is about 5 mins with a 1kg battery... OOH fun right?
Oh and 2KW motors need about 200V to operate. Interesting fact no?
Now if you said petrol powered, that would be possible. But then again, that's been done...
That is all i going to say, the motor that you sea is wit a reductor, his spead is 56 - 70 RPS. (per secund). to achive that i did not construsct a normal motor. This motor has the stator as the rotating part as static. if you going again to proclaim that is inposible then lisen wel young one. the moust output givs a mehanizam that is locatet on the holder of the gear. It would not be very vise for me to show it to you. so if you CAN be patient for about a month. the reday dezined model will be finished and you guys will be the first who i will show it.
AND a few spec. bu the way. just past weak while i was talking with my freand i had a wonderful idea, i found a way to eficently store the baterys and in the sa time to put shock dumphers in them. IT is a great idea!!!
And for the batery, they are not like my ass (tough he is not big!!!), i will use nickelmangan (ni-mh) baterys of capasity 2.5 amper ahours A/h, voltage 7.2 V and a conductor for output maxmation.
For the pictures the first 2 are just the motor, widout the reductor and the colector (if jou cal them soo, jou know the contact brushes, i had particular problems developing them.)
And my apology for not posting the pictures. I was siting in a internet cafe, and my time run out, sory. Plese dont cose the treat it is a serios one. the pictures 2-4 are with the conductor and the last one is the iron core with the rotor. And by the way the conduits are not shown on the pictures, not mention they are not normal, i had to use 2 way in and one out.
