Thread: Air gear to buy, in aproximatly 2 years!!! by who, by me!

Jes people, the air gears will be available to buy, no not the shit wit the rockets. i am elektro-engeiner, and awcorse a Air gear fan!!! well it poped out in my head that it would be fun to drive tehse. The idea it self was in reality maykable. so i turened on the think cels and started to project.

And after 3 months of engeniring I am almost finished !!!!

Well it would be to expensive to build them in praxis, and to go the long way of try and fix.

SO i began first to calculate the forses. The end result is this here are saom theoretical spacification.

They are Dc-voltage propeld (for the nobies it meanst they use baterys), and they reach aproksimatley the speed about 60 km/h well you think that is not much but taje that on normal rolerblades you will never reach more then 30. I am talking about the speed on even ground NOT on a suicide hill! wall you can probably thnik how fast they go on the hill!

Ok enof of braging i calculated this speed buy the users weight obout 80 kg. and here comes the moust interesting, they can reach full sped on a distance less then 50 meters! i also hawe projected a mehnizam that converts the down-forse in spead.

It took me a loong way to disighn the motor and suspension, not to speach about the amontization, the worst poblem is the lase and the weight. first design had obout 2 kilos on each feat, im now on leas than 1.29 kilos. wel i will spear you the details but i can tell you it isnot easy at all!!!!!!

I think this is a pointless thread since we already have a similar thread. If the OP is serious, I would like to see some research.

Basic physics dictate that it's a fake. 80kg to 60kmph in 50m require an acceleration of 2.8m/s^2 and a force of 224N to achieve that..

Now then calculating for power consumption. In a ideal frictionless world, it would take 6s to hit full speed. In terms of watts, the power required would be 1866W.. Assuming that you could find a compact dc drive to kick out that kind of power, the batteries alone would be the size of your ass to even get out the door since the best batteries in the world only contain 150-190Wh/kg.

That in terms of playtime is about 5 mins with a 1kg battery... OOH fun right?
Oh and 2KW motors need about 200V to operate. Interesting fact no?

Now if you said petrol powered, that would be possible. But then again, that's been done...
