Xaturas original post made sense to me. If he'd used became instead of become it would have been worse grammar, the error was actually that he said "we could say" rather than "we could tell".

The thing is that I said there that

How could i use became ,if its used for past reference.
And as i know noone oficialy became a king unless we consider ikki a king (Im not talking about agito because he was a king already in some way).

I was talking about this sentence, and I think 98abaile was as well:

We could say that kazu will become flame king around buccha x ikki fight ...

Which is good grammar except that it uses "say" instead of "tell" or "see". "Say" may normally be a synonym to "tell", but here "tell" means that we know it, not that we actually say it to other people. The sentence "I can tell it is" actually means "I (know it so well that I) can tell (others that) it is".

We dont know if he will actualy become flame king god knows meaby he will have his own road and regalia ...

why is there talk about buccha being king and oni being king? they're just sidekicks

In order to be a true king you need to have abilities that use the atmosphere, and a regalia. Spitfire's illusions both use the atmosphere and have a regalia, so he gets to be a king. The Iron Clock time-stopping illusion uses the atmosphere, but lacks regalia, so no king there but it is a real road and he could be one if he got regalia.

Buccha can't be a real king because he doesn't use the atmosphere and lacks regalia.

So in a weird way, the Smell Road is closer to being a true king's road than Buccha's Night King deal, because it uses the atmosphere.

the roads are markings on any surface left by practicing the techniques. over time, the markings accumulate and become a road. they have nothing to do with atmosphere. atmosphere is a phenomenon created by regalia. and if you're talkin about the smell road the smell road could be in fact the path that onigiri follows through his nose for instance him smelling the sweat off the girl in the behemoth battle. oh and iron clock's abilitiy is his own ability it has nothing to do with atmosphere.

Iron Clock's abilities do indeed use the atmosphere, they create the illusion he is vanishing by defracting light through the heated air.

infinity atmosphere is technically speaking the sky, and they say that Iron Clock isnt a King because he isnt connected to the sky, and technically speaking any at user is a king for everyone has their own road, the regalia just means your road relies on the sky
