great post........."no she's not"........................care to tell us why not.

Well in my eyes she'snothing more than a backstabing, sadist, perverted, mentaly confused, hypocritical, good looking, egocentric maniac-biatch and I hope she dies a slow and painful death.(explenations why can be found in previous posts)

....but you already knew I thought that way.................

What im trying to say is: when u have a opinion pls explain why u think so and dont just write yes or no, because that's what the pole is for.^^

ps: again I'm sorry for all the spelling mistakes. And pls excuse the double post.

Is Ringo perverted? I guess she must be a little since she's been "tuned" at least once; I mean, getting completely naked with a stranger, one who "tunes" the sound your body/soul make by kissing and touching you all over to fix the wrong sounding notes, means she's at least not a saint. Thus, clearly not innocent. If anything, she's determined in her goals and is willing "to do" close to anything.

That got me thinking, I wanna be "tuned".

Really though, I think that the most infuriating thing about her is that right now she thinks Ikki's pissed becase her tuner kissed her. Riiight, crippling Simca, nearly killing three characters, attacking him and being a mindless puppet to Kilik don't add up to nothing.

I vote Kururu throws a wrench in her face then rides off into the sunset. END.

Huh ... I didn't even think about it that way, but you're right. Though I think she knows it's not all over the kiss, but that was the first thing she thought and that was what she wanted to try to explain to Ikki; but then she started on her rabble about how Killik's views are right (I think she's just spewing Killiks beliefs; she's probably been doing it for so long that she now believes it's her beliefs).

That kind of does make me mad; that she would think that way. That, of all the things Ikki should be mad about, to her, it's just the kiss that needs the most explanation because that is what Ikki is really upset about; forget about the beating to Simica and many others and the years of hiding stuff from him. She needs a Rick James' slap (Dave Chappel: "I'm Rick James bitch").

I don't think that she is a bad person but is probably trying to protect Ikki within her own ideals, also she really doesn't have that much of a choice in the matter either...

she's not a bad person at all. It all depends on your views that's all. What she's doing is right, and what ikki is doing is right. Just like ringo's turner said (forgot his name), it's a battle of ideologies.

I wish it were that easy deuce; unfortunately, not all ideologies are created equal. If they were, or were all true or right, then it would be equivalent in saying that there are no right or true ideologies (truth preserving logical implication).

Try as I might, I still can't see Ringo other than, in the best view possible, as a confused or lead astray ATer. I won't go as far as saying she is evil, but I can confidently say she is not good or innocent, and that her actions, whatever reason she gives them, are bad (at least by what I understand these definitions to be). She seems to be under the premise that the means justifies the ends, but this premise is only good, to me that is, when we know for sure the ends; and even then it's still questionable. I base all this on the way she has been developed in the story--her overt actions, her internal dialogs, her internal struggles (questionings), and her stated desires and beliefs.

To me, if she is not confused nor lead astray, then she is a hypocrite and bad in the sense that, if I were Ikki, I would not want to have her as a friend or family. Place yourself in Ikki's shoes and imagine your sister (not parent, but an equal), or a very close friend, do all the things Ringo has done; then decide how you feel--you may be surprised, or I may be.

It is important you identify with the main character, Ikki, and not with Ringo. Don't see yourself as Ringo (though she may be a favorite character) doing these "things", justifying them the way she does; see yourself as having these "things" done to you by some outside force.
