I'll give you the confusion for the kiss and the revelation that Ringo has been hiding stuff from him, but the other two seem weak.
First his intial anger at what happened to Simca had fallen off, it was still something in his mind, but at the time I'm talking about which I should've made clearer he isn't thinking about it. Also the thought of Ringo being the successor and leader of SF doesn't come up until she brings it up.
His thoughts are about Kanon and the kiss. He loves Ringo, it's just hard to tell if it's brotherly protective love, or something more than that. So when he sees the kiss it was like when you realize the person you like doesn't like you back. He then wouldn't hear nothing of her explanation of what happened. You can say he was acting like a guy, but he was provoking a fight by not hearing her out. He insults her (four eyed monkey) then brings up the thing about trust.
At this point Ringo realizes that words won't reach him, and goes into a whole revelation that since he will be leader of Genesis, and she is the leader of SF, two opposing AT teams, they couldn't be more than brother and sister and decides to act as a leader of a team and challenges another leader. At this point, while they are still there somewhat, their relationship is as opposing AT riders instead of lovers/siblings.
Even then she has some drawbacks in her mind, she calls herself an idiot for even thinking that Ikki won't be serious in the battle. Then there are all those thumps thrown all over the pages, and the question to herself of why her heart and body were in so much pain. It's something she doesn't want to do at the start, but knows she has to.
The thing I was talking about earlier about betrayal, he doesn't use me, he uses us. If he's talking about his team, he's being ignorant. He has known she was a part of Sleeping Forest ever since the very early chapters. What does he expect from her? He started his own team that goes against the goal of her team. Even if he didn't know the goal of SF at this point, he is still a rival ATer.
Bad person!! >.<
I'm sorry, I don't like her much at the moment. It's not that she's fated to fight Ikki, he'll just beat her XD
I just don't like how she never really told him. She's been spending time with them, worrying about Ikka and even hanging out in their secret base. All the while planning to break Ikki's wings. Yes, he know that she was part of Sleeping Forest, but he did not know their job was to berak everyone's wings so that the Gem King could stay in power. That might not be true, i'm feeling biased ;p At least i'll admit it.
obviously SF is to Ikki as gravity vs flight: SF is just a group that wouldn't send fools to the top. Ringo believes that Ikki's fighting for the wrong cause (they believe that AT + Mobology will ruin the AT-World ~ GENISIS). Now Ikki is bound to flight, thus entails love/war relationship wit Ringo.
My point: Ringo = not bad person
But Ringo is bound to her obligation because shes a "professional" (Watch Man under Fire (DENSEL WASH.) and u know wut im saying)
Does anyone else remember what Ringo's big thing was early in the Manga, when Ikki was going against Rez-Boa-Dog and Skull Saders and she complained that A-T shouldn't be used like that, to fight and hurt others. She was even against Parts Wars. Yet, SF, which she is the supposed queen of, use A-T to destroy other riders, and I mean, destroy, especially those Regalia.
But, I personally think she is being manipulated by this Kilik, the Gem King. He's controlling all of those in SF. Think about it, he puts Sora in the wheelchair, takes over SF, then turns them against every other powerful rider. Even those in SF would rather kill themselves then face Kilik for failing. What ever hold he's got, it's strong, and he must have some wicked powerful A-T.
In the end, it's all to keep the competition down, so when the Gram Scale opens, Kilik will have the least completion so he can obtain "The Regalia of Regalia. The Sky Regalia." Or so I get from Ringo in 135. The question is, and what I'm really waiting to find out, what is the Gem King's ability... o.O
P.S. Basicly, no, not evil. She is being used to Kilik's end, and none of that is founded, it's just what I got from the series so far. Oh, and I think Kilik can cause the ground to move with his Regalia, not sure why, just a gut feeling.
P.P.S. Note that in the last three or four chapters, she never once bashed Ikki into a wall, the ground, a billboard, iron beam, etc. Instead, into a dumpster and then tried to send in into some water. She was not trying to kill him, or even seriously injure him. Her goal was to stop him, by defeating him in a match. Not clip his wings all together, just I think keep him out of the Gram Scale when it opened. But, she didn't count on Kururu kicking so much ass. XD
i dont believe that she is evil. and i dont want to speak of spoilers too, so i'll just leave it to that (though the posters above me already did it, anyway. im having the same thoughts)
sorry about the necro.....didnt want to make a new thread
but now i would like to ask....after a few goodchapters....do ppl still think ringo is a bad person???
I kinda hate her. She's such a hypocrite. She is the one who dreamed with Ikki to live in a noncompetitive world where AT riders lived to reach for the heavens.
But she is also the one that replaced Rika on sleeping forest after Kilik's betrayal
NO. I don't think so.
Since chapter 151 is already posted, I guess what I am going to say is not spoiler.
1. Ringo and Kilik decided to attack Simac because they were trying to keep her out the fight since she is the leader of Genesis and does not have much fighting ability. Simac will be able to walk half year later.
2. One of the reason Ringo said little to Ikki about SF is because she does not want involve Ikki into the inevitable wars of SF. And she believes if Ikki knows about the motives of SF, he will fight with them.It is revealed in VOL.04, the part RINGO fell into water.
3. Why she is willing to take all the risk for Ikki (like in Trident) if she really is evil and wants to destory him?
She doesn't want to destroy Ikki, but she and her sisters save Rika, strive to destroy what Ikki represents. Access to all. She is not only a Hypocrite, she is a time faced, double dealing, lying cad. Why you ask? She claims to love Ikki yet she not only helps get him killed, but by not telling him the situation has gotten him in a position were she is going to get to help kill him(Not a spoiler, just my theory) Even if he gets out of the tower, Kilik will like want to stop him. Not to mention she is a just straight up liar, either she believes that none shall gain the regalia or she believes in that Ikki is right, (thus making Genesis right) that the SR belongs to whoever can get them. And I don't buy her "Well if the regalia were destroyed then everyone would be able to fly with the fighting" That is a human nature thing and her pious position(like Rika before her) has done nothing but get people in line to die(Ikki) or crippled(Simca and Sora). She is the reason this has been an ambush and that TTT has betrayed their own rules. It's her fault and I hope Benkei and Kururu crush her face in with the panther staff and that huge wrench.
Sorry I just needed to vent over her. I know I usually have very eloquent posts that have the information and theory, and try and stay objective, but she has been getting in my craw(Especially in the raws) and I needed to just drop some passionate anger on her. I will now return to my usual style.
