Can you tell me how this whole torrent thing works?

Anyone having problems DL the ".torrent" file from the link? I can't even access the site. =(

torrents are where you use a program to receive files from other users...Bittorrent Clients are the programs you load the torrent into...once you download the bittorrent client, set it as default program to open ".torrent" applications. then leave it open to download...its really slow if there arent many seeders...or people who have completed the download. peers who have completed more of the download than you also upload, or "send" to you and other peers.
