I think he means just tattoos that appear when heated, not the hypnotism part.

i think thats the factual (the uv thing) and it was modified to what was shown in airgear

or maybe she had that and had a small UV light to barely show it

i believe thats what it actually is cuz it said in the manga i believe (on a side note) that its used among raves
and the UV things is also

they just changed what it reacts to, instead of light, heat

They have heat-reactive materials that change colour, they use them in little kid's bath toys and the like quite a bit. There are even some that are transparent when cool.

The only problem would be, what heat triggers the colour change? It would have to be a temperature that was feasibly obtainable by the human body.

ohhh i c. because it'd be kinda cool to get a tattoos that would apper depending on your emotion. (body temp) and its not black either, its white. its either the tattoos that changes white or the area around it that becomes more red. it'd be cool. Im thinking of getting small UV light tattoo. heheh XD my parents wont know, it wont look ugly when i get old and u'll never notice unless on specail occasions.

    I don't know.

Re: erachina's post, it may be feasable--but the body may have an allergic reaction to it. I'd be interested to know more.

Allergic reactions? Maybe. But if they use it in children's toys (little kids chew on stuff, remember) it can't be that bad for you. A lot of the stuff they use in tattoos isn't exactly good for you anyway. Bright red is made from cadmium, which is toxic, carcinogenic and, if I remember correctly, slightly radioactive as well.
