I'm not sure if Shin is timid around girls, though he's a little shocked (in the good way) of how forward Keiko is, he's a little out of touch from the rest of humanity, which would be why he can be so analytical about what people think of him and unsure (thats a better word) around the ladies. I couldnt really get it into the rp so far, but Saeko's compensated dating really messed Shin up, he wonders if there is anyone out there who likes him since the one person who was always there for him is gone.
