Default Gantz World Tour Manual (Part2)

GWT:ALIEN:
First you'll need to create a character.
For the purpose of the experiment only the basics are needed because you'll be playing as the average Mid level Alien. Not a Tanaka peep or Nuri, but you can be.

Use the form:
Name: ''<nickname>'

Sex: M/F

Height: - Metric.

Weight: - Metric.

Specialty 1 – short range attack.

Specialty 2 - long range attack.

Form/s –

Favorite saying: -

For example:
Name: Shakuni
Age: - 3000
Height: - 8'
Weight: - 1 ton
Specialty 1 – fire breath
Specialty 2 - laser eyes
Form: - Humanoid, four arms.
Favorite saying – Hu Hu Hu

GWT:INDICES:
Same as Gantzers.

We'll give Shakuni the index of NQ

GWT:ALIEN:IMAGE:
Each Alien can choose an image from the GWT Memory so we know what your character looks like.


His profile is almost complete but he needs some powers to do battle.

GWT:ALIEN:STATS:
Stats are the weapons needed to do battle.
For the sake of the experiment each Alien will use 4 stats. Others can be added later.
Alien stats will appear in the form of a stat line [##V:##S1:##S2:##K]
The stat line MUST appear at the very end of each of your post.

GWT:ALIEN:STATS:EXPLAINED:
For the sake of the experiment each Alien will use 4 stats others will be added later:

V = Vitality is your health.
S1 = Specialty 1 (short range)
S2 = Specialty 2 (long range)
K = successful Actions.

For the experiment:
V - will always start a hunt with 200 to 500 Vitality pts. This is set by you.
S1 - will always start a hunt with no less than 20pts and no more than (V/2)-S2.
S2 - will always start a hunt with no less than 20pts and no more than (V/2)-S1.
K – Aliens will always start a hunt at 0.

* note - your specialty points must add up to half your vitality points ((S1+S2)=V/2). V divided by 10 equals the points you're worth (Your Points = V/10) S1 and S2 must be in 10pt units

V = 200 is a 20pt Alien.
V = 300 is a 30pt Alien.
V = 400 is a 40pt Alien. Etc...
(No 70-100 pointers for now and no more than one alien for every 2 Gantzers)

* note - Just because an Alien is worth 20pts doesn't mean you'll get 20pts if you kill/send it. That's Gantz.

So Shakuni's in hunt state at this time will be:

ALIEN:SPECIALTY 1:
Specialty 1 Actions can be used to directly inflict physical damage on Gantzers, Aliens and Objects.
Specialty 1 Actions effect your opponents S first then V. There is a 5pt.minimum to use a Specialty 1 Action. Specialty Damage Multipliers do apply where applicable.

GWT:ALIEN:SPECIALTY 2:
Specialty 2 Actions can be used to directly inflict physical damage on Gantzers, Aliens and Objects.
Specialty 2 Actions effect your opponents S first then V. There is a 10pt.minimum to use a Specialty 2 Actions. Damage Multipliers do apply where applicable.
Risk amount must be in increments of 10pts.
There is no maximum limit.
Only one use per Cycle.


Shakuni's yellow eyes turn red and a blast of energy goes out in Jack's direction. (20S2:NQ)

GWT:ALIEN:SPECIALTIES:TRANSFERS:
If you are down to 0 in S1pts or S2pts but still wish to attack then and only then can you transfer from your Vitality.

Do so in the form:
Gantzer (##V>>ToStat)
Adjusted Stat Line:

## is the amount of points you want to transfer.
The current value and stat.
>> to denote a transfer.
The destination stat.
5pt units for S1 pts.
10pt units for S2 pts.

GWT:ALL:ACTIONS:REACTIONS:
If a previous action is directed toward you, you can respond with a counter to negate, minimize or evade the action all together. In order for your counter to be successful your counter action must result in a higher numeric value than your attackers.

Jack pulls out the X-gun and fires at the alien. (5X:dJ)

Shakuni's tries to evade the blast by stepping to the right. (5V:NQ)

So if the DOW 7,465.95 and NASDAQ is 1,442.82.

Jack's action would prevail because his outcome is 10 were Shakuni's is 5. He got double damage!
Jack +5X, Shakuni – 0V. The difference goes to Jack. Both add 1 to their in hunt K.

Jack's action would fail to get full damage even though his index was favorable because his outcome is 5 were Shakuni's is 10, Shakuni +5V. To the victor go the spoils. The losers gets 0 pts for their efforts. Both add 1 to their in hunt K.

GWT:ACTION:COMBOS:ALL:
If your in hunt K reaches 20 you can do Combo Actions.

A Combo Action is a type of if then action used to string two actions together for maximum impact.
Do so in the form:

If Statement (amount risked:index)
Then
Statement (amount risked:index)
Stat line.

The second index number here is your assigned indices change number.
Your index's change number can be found to the far right of your assigned index. It's the number in red or green.

If the first Action is successful the second Action comes into play.

GWT:OBJECTS:
Objects are things you find in hunt. If you can find it in the city zone on Google maps you can interact with it. Objects can be used to inflict damage on Gantzers, Aliens and other objects or be used as shields, , it's entirely up to you. The amount of damage or protection they provide depends on it's vitality. For the experiment there will be three classes of objects: Heavy, Medium and Light. At the start of each hunt you will be given the number of each in the zone,

GWT:OBJECTS:HEAVY:
Heavy objects (hospitals, churches, office buildings, houses, trucks etc...) can be used for shelter or in the case of hospitals (Gantzers) or churches (Aliens) can also be used to heal. Hospitals have a vitality of 105pts.
Churches have a vitality of 55pts. If a heavy objects vitality is reduced to zero the building will collapse and will inflict two times it's original vitality in damage any physical contact with it will result in the damage being inflicted on you!

GWT:OBJECTS:HEAVY:SHIELD:
To use a heavy object as a shield. You must first enter it with a Vitality Action in the amount of 5pts. A heavy object will provide shelter as long as it's Vitality is above 0.
Aliens can not enter hospitals. Gantzers can't enter churches.

To enter a heavy object use form:

GWT:OBJECTS:HEAVY:SHIELD:HOSPITAL:
A hospital can be used to revive a Gantzer's vitality by 50pts per Gantzer if and only if the Gantzer's vitality is <30 and >0. Each use will reduce the hospital's vitality by 50pts. It takes one full cycle to be healed. Once entered you must stay for the entire cycle and can not attack. A hospital can be attacked during that time however.

To use a hospital to heal once entered use form:
Statement (>>50V)
Adjusted Stat line

GWT:OBJECTS:HEAVY:SHIELD:CHURCH:
A Church can be used to revive an Alien's vitality by 50pts if and only if the Alien's vitality is <30 and >0. Use for healing will reduce the church's vitality by 50pts. It takes one full cycle to be healed. Once entered you must stay for the entire cycle and can not attack. A church can be attacked during that time however.

To use a church to heal once entered use form:
Statement (>>50V)

GWT:OBJECTS:MEDIUM:
Medium objects (cars, phone booths, vending carts, etc... can be used for shelter were plausible or for weapons. Medium objects have a vitality of 25pts. If a medium objects vitality is reduced to zero it will explode and will inflict twice it's original vitality in damage! (100pts). Doors which can be found on some medium objects can be used as shields or weapons. Doors have an intrinsic value of 10 but damage multipliers do apply when used as weapons. Vehicle medium objects have two doors each. The number of accessible medium objects will be show o the initial hunt map.

GWT:OBJECTS:MEDIUM:SHIELD:
To use a medium object as a shield. You must first enter it if applicable, no points required. A medium object will provide shielding as long as it's Vitality is above 0.

GWT:OBJECTS:MEDIUM:SHIELD:dOORS:
To use a door object as a shield. You must first rip it off it's foundation, no points required. A door object can provide up to 10pts. of protection. Houses, cars, carts and phone booths have two doors.

GWT:OBJECTS:MEDIUM:WEAPON:
To use a medium object as a weapon you must first pick it up using a suit action then use another to throw it. It cost 5pts each. Neither is guaranteed.

GWT:OBJECTS:MEDIUM:WEAPON:dOORS:
To use a door object as a weapon. You must first rip it off it's foundation, no points required but S points are required to actually use it. A door object will add 10pts. of damage to the suit action but it's not guaranteed. Damage multipliers do apply.

GWT:OBJECTS:SMALL:
Small objects (items ≤ 50lbs) can be used as weapons. Small objects have a vitality of 5pts.

GWT:OBJECTS:SMALL:WEAPONS:
To use a small object as a weapon you can pick it up and throw it in the same action. Damage is not guaranteed.

GWT:ACTION:PRIORITY:
It's first come first served. In the even of actions that might otherwise present a conflict whoever post first wins. There are no ties in GWT.

GWT:GANTZER:SCORING:NICKNAME:
If you're lucky enough to survive your first hunt you'll get your nickname during scoring.

GWT:GANTZER:SCORING:
Scoring will be done when all hunt objectives are complete. Once in the room you'll be scored based on your successful in hunt actions and overall performance. Whoever gets the kill or most kills will set the scoring curve.
