We were told those, Cyclops's, that were able to open their third eye would gain a great power. Yeah right.

They use it their entire life and then when they get into a real battle they use it three times and it begins to bleed. Yeah what a great power that you can use in a single fight, I can see how someone conquered the world with that.

This happened to the first Cyclops we see, and then Kirin, and he was being aided by Mei. I'm only on chapter 70, and I guess it ends soon after that point so if Mei ever uses it she better be able to do more, which is less realistic since she was able to use it just a couple of chapters before this.

Anyone else annoyed with that? -.-

... Not really annoyed. Plus you have to look at it this way, what if the power was used in groups. First off, the less you use it to move, the less strain there is, secondly, even if you could only use it three times in a short period, there could be hundreds that help back you up. In these circumstances, the eye becomes very powerfull very quickly. In addition, I get the feeling that this "skill" isn't one Kirin tried to develop, and as far as Mei is concerned, who knows? You have to remember Kirin is only half Cyclopian, so naturally he would be weaker then Mei unless he trained. As far as Mei's brother, well, instead of training, he went for surgery to enhance his powers, so that could mess with one a lot. In short, while it can be a really good power, who knows how it was supposed to be used. Remember that it is also a dieing ability in the Cyclopians, to the extent that only one or two in a generation can use it. Naturally the normal use of the ability is slowly being discarded.

Yet Kirin was the only non opt in Steas attack force? The man who could never be touched? Only using a single human eye?

He had developed the third eye, he had it since the day he was born. He was the only one in the task force who could have used it, unless it says anywhere otherwise. And the time that it did bleed Mei did help him, lessening the strain.

The one who conquered the world was a single man, and then destroyed 90% of the worlds population. How many people helped him? It doesn't say, what are the chances of a hundred man cyclopsian army behind him to do this? Not to likely.

Once again, what are the chances of a hundred man cyclopsian army behind him to do this? Not to likely.

It's a mediocre ability at best, the only way the one man could have conquered the world with the help of this ability is constant regeneration of his eye, to stop the bleeding. But then the cyclops don't have a great power, because he would then be a recipe, and being a recipe means he would have been consumed by the kaballah and he wouldn't have been able to conquer the world.

You assume that it would take constant fighting to conquer the world. It's quite possible he simply made it into the previous rulers inner circle with the power of his eye and then performed a coup d'etat.

The third eye wass like the major plot of this manga.
