Thread: Is anyone else unhappy with the haracters development after the time skip?

I find that Jio's character is a little too grown up and arrogant, which has become apparent to me during this arc. I liked that jio was this tough fool hardy little kid who wanted to "take over the world" but still seemed vulnerable on some level. Now he's some smug hotshot with all these abilities but has lost all of the things that made him unique.Also, i think its a little cheesy that everyone has a demon or an angel recipe. I mean the dog? come on, there should have been a more unique way to even out the playing field rather than giving everyone a recipe so no one os left out. The thing that made Jin special was that he was really strong without the recipe and that he had nothing but contempt for Satan. But now he wants to join the club. At least they kept Ball and Kirin the same, those are about the only two characters left who don't have a recipe........

the guy writing 666satan might just want to end it quickly, i mean would u want him to drag out the manga after a freakin' time skip. Tat would make the time skip almost completely pointless, except change wat they look like and make them stronger

Personally, i thought that Zero´s son ending up being the recipe was pretty cool, i mean, he was a talking animal...i also loved the design.

It´s been something that has ocurred during the entire manga, every recipe, demonic or angelic seems to "attract" each other by proxy of the people containing them, everyone who apparently was a normal person in the first part of the manga was revealed to be either a good friend or a die hard enemy.

As for Jin, now that we know that his new zero can contain and making him able to control Satan´s powers, explaining why he ins´t so tormented by the fact that he has Lucifer inside of him, no more going Postal or almost bringing the apocalipse out if nowhere, he matured to a not so social guys true but he don´t need to yell FRIENDSHIP RULES everytime of the day to know that he´s not alone anymore, maybe after this whole mess all said and done, he´ll more like his young self, you know, when he actually has time to do it.

I like it, really, in my oppinion thats how a protaganist should be, he can be goofy at first but after a couple of years he should grow up and become powerful.

To make a comparison, take Naruto for example, is there any diff before the time skip and after the timeskip Naruto, all that has happend in my eyes is he grew taller and had a new jumpsuit, mentaly hes still exact the same, and that irks me quite a bit.

Is this how you want Jio to be aswell ?

Seishi-san has made excellent work whit his Manga and im quite pleased.

I liked the post-timeskip Jiou because he's come to terms with his emotional conflicts from before. I also hate how they're making everyone recipes and how they're making every major character in the story travel in one big pack together. Its just unrealistic. They made Ball's progress and skills too close to Jio in the timeskip too.

Granted, Zero's recipe and Ruby's recipe are awesome and Cross too, but the clumping up of so many recipes is ridiculous. There should be no more recipes in that pack. I also hate how all the recipes seem to constantly confront each other. Like going into that Leviathan's stomach....

For now... Remember there are 2 recipes left...

^That would be awful...I really hope they just introduce new characters who are the recipes rather than use these characters. It would be ridiculous, especially if it was Kirin.

it's not zero's son its zero the only animal that had a kid would be jojomaru or jajamaru i 4got which one.

no, when sammael saw his recipe he explained that zero was his father.

the zero that trained jio was already the zero's son.... and its pretty obvious to me that jio would be way more mature now...... after all he did lead and financially support a village who was constantly uder attack, he had to grow up in that kind of environment....
