Moving at top speed?
Is it just me, or is the story really moving at a much greater paste lately?
I mean, ever since the four-year gap, I have a weird feeling that Kishimoto (well, the other one, not "Naruto" creator) is just trying to finish this story ASAP.
I mean the Stea Republic got owned rather easily, with only Mei's brother, this whole Michael angel and the blind guy fighting against Jio and his party (and Miko as well, but that should be obvious as she's the leader).
Now they're after Zenom and each of the Great Four is getting defeated in less then two chapters. I recall Jio's fight with Ikaros took few chapters to finish, while quite frankly, not much happened in it IMO, whereas half of the fights right now are taken to present the characters better (which I don't really mind, though kinda makes you wonder what's the point, considering their appearance will most likely end there).
Maybe I'm the only one who's bothered by that and although I myself hate it when things are getting strechted, but those guys are supposed to be tuff! Wise gave Jio way more trouble then the Great Four gave the heroes so far and that just seems wrong.
I'd venture to say that it's just because they've gotten stronger. Also, I get the feeling Seishi is starting to wrap it up, so it's a finale of battles.
I agree, i mean who would want to read something drag out AFTER a time skip it gets rid of the whole point

I don't know, it's just that after so much talking about how powerful both Zenom and Stea were, I feel slightly disappointed that the heroes crush them rather easily...
Or maybe taking down Zenom and Stea won't be the real end of the story?
well zenom and stea have been hunting down the angels and demons b4 even the time skip so the fighting ability and there spirits are alrdy really high i dont see how they are gonna get any higher and plus almost ever one in Jio's team is a recipe after all
isn't jio's dream to take over the world? something will probably come up.
yea , the mangaka is moving in so..so fast
its just after the 4 years , i felt the manga was great when jio was child everything was cool and attract you the fights jios zero and speaking about zero his zero now is not cool with stupid ability , back to the topic the speed , it like after the 4 years the went to the stea republic helped ruby kill every body & went to zenom kill or atleast win against the 4 guards which the mangaka could make taller and cooler and all that in 5 to 6 chapters
i think the story is going a bit too fast too. like some said before, the fights are so short, the enemies are supposed to be tough and all that, then get own quickly. and all that stuffs they explain are too much imo. could have added they more gradually.
oh and wasn't zenom's leader's goal to wipe out everything in existence? in the last chapter he seems to contradict himself... maybe i didn't read well..
The manga has been moving quite quickly, I don't mind the advancement of the plots, but they've butchered the battles. The ONLY good battle post-time skip has been Kirin vs his Brother (damn near cried at the end of that), other than that the battle have just ended too quickly. Compared to something like the battle against the S-rank O-part maekesis (sp?) which was multi-layered, complicated and involved various smaller battles (I still consider that arc to be 666 Satan at it's best) the current battles feel really lacking and rushed.
