Satan is not a mirror of Jio, and HI is not a mirror of Ichigo. If Ichigo was evil, HI wouldn't be a good guy which means he is not a mirror, same for Jio

Sure when the series first started out I thought that it was like Naruto, but as the series progressed I realized that they're worlds apart. To say that 666 Satan is just like Naruto is like saying you never really read the series. To me 666 is more of a mix of RAVE, Dragon Ball, and NGE, Bleach, a smidgen of One Piece and a Final Fantasy.

The similarities that 666 has with Naruto are very general, a lot of Shounen Manga have time skips, as well of characters with eye abilities, things like that are nothing new to the world of shounen manga. Naruto is just super famous so you know more about it.

the authors are twin brothers, both influenced by DBZ, so stop starting these stupid threads when idiots finally realise that theyre similar.

666 Satan is alittle similar but i dont know by how much, because i cant seem to get into it like when i first started reading Mangas like:
Gantz
BlackCat
Naruto
Onepiece etc.
i stoped reading for a while now at chapter 4, not a bad manga just isnt catching my intrest for somereason

Things that I find similar are like previously said the fact that there's a demon inside the main characters (Naruto = Kyuubi // Jio = Satan) but the difference is that the Kyuubi isn't as cunning or "free" as Satan is. Kyuubi just pours out chakra and makes physical manifestations when the seal becomes loose while Satan gave Jio a double-edged sword (the power absorbtion power) and has full control when possessing the host, unlike the mindless Kyuubi. Also about the eye technique users I don't see that as an issue as the Cyclops people have telekenesis which is comes from a 3rd eye in the middle of their forehead, completely different from Naruto's byakuugan and sharingan which are visual enhancement/ illusion inducing.

Kirin resembles Urahara in the sense that he lives as a hermit now but was/is a powerful warrior, plus the fact that he mentors the main character.

Ruby is strange because to me she seems like a really strong character, which seems like a new concept for a female character (before she had her Angel powers she was really strong willed, now she's battle-strong too)

The Final Fantasy aspect is from the fact that there's been a long-term mission (Capture the demons/angels and defeat Zenom/Stea) and the fact they have an air ship

If that is what makes them similar, then you will have to say " Kirin and Urahara are just like Master Roshi".


This thread really needs to just die, you can't compare 666 Satan to Naruto, Naruto isn't the first to do what it does.

If that is appose to be "look like", the only thing that makes Kirin and Urahara look like each other is their hair (barely).

Your right, I'll retract and restate my earlier statement.
"Kirin and Urahara are just like Genkai".

to reply to Nick88's Kyuubi statement there is a world of difference between Kyuubi and Satan. First of all Jio was born with Satan inside of him, it wasn't sealed in him. He is a recipe, born from the Kabballah, which is why is soul has a mirror. On one side of the mirror is Satan, on the other side is Jio, they are kinda two halves of a whole. While Naruto was born and then had the demon sealed inside of him, Kyubbi and Naruto are therefore separate entities. So even though on the surface it seems the same, its actually quite different.

But on the same note its also pretty stupid to think that this aspect of Naruto is original, I've seen other manga where some character faces the same situation as the characters of Naruto. Naruto is a series is filled with cliches, but cliches aren't cliches during their first appearance, what makes a cliches is its continual appearance.

Also Ruby character isn't exactly original either, perhaps the first character that comes to mind when I think of Ruby is Nami from One Piece, she always was strong-willed but she took a long time to get strong.

Kirin also isn't the strongest he says so himself that his brother is stronger than he is, and he also needed help to win his fight against him.

Also I think Seiishi Kisimoto used to do final fantasy art so he may have been influenced by FF too, just a thought.
