Eh, I agree that the new name of "O-Parts Hunter" sucks. And that when I first saw the name a few months back, I was like, oh shit, now their gonna change the names and symbols as well. Well a few days ago I was at a book store, browsing the manga section and stumbled upon the series. I browsed through it to see some differences and was shocked to see next to nothing, actually no real change at all besides the title.

Of course we all know that O-Parts are really only "hunted" in the first couple of chapters but it soon diverts onto the growth of both Ball and Jio. And then after that it moves onto the Kabbalah and Reverse Kabbalah. Then the 3-4 year time jump.

Overall from what I can tell, the name change was only done to help bring business while in the states with all the crazy stuff going on. Yes, I've bought the first two volumes even though we all have read past those parts a long time ago (what 2-3 years already?), but I rather have the book in my hands.

So in conclusion, I'm quite satisfied for the most part. The only downside is of course the new name. Well if anyone asks me, I'm just gonna go on ahead and say, "666 Satan."

so, what was the point of this thread? To tell the forum that you're fine with the name change? Or did you want us to give our thoughts on the name change?

    sigh...the problems with poor communication...

its kind of funny.......scholars who have translated the bible believe that the numbers where actualy translated wrong and that it is actualy 616. so pretty much all the beliefs that people have had over the cursed number 666 was pointless. even all the movies put out by hollywood on the topic is pretty much pointless now.

:/ I think the change is stupid... I didn't relize that the manga had been published in the US... At least they published it I guess, but I don't understand the reason why they changed the name, the ENTIRE book is about the "666 satan" :/ whatever

okay to the OP who said that its "a catholic thing" i'm catholic and it doesnt offend me. in fact their are many catholics in this country that are notoriously democratic and liberal. we even vote heavily democratic. and on another note, i have friends and family in south america and spain, which are catholic parts of the world and they dont censor anime over their. hell i've friends over their and they sell hellsing and berserk to them. so stop acting like catholics are all backwards and are censoring things. i'll leave you with the note that if anything its more of consevitive evangelicals that would probibley be offended by that, and seeing that they are prodminent in this country, that their will have to be name changes.
