Default Jio's motivation for not finding his friend

I don't exactly see why after a 4 year period Jio decided not to find the rest of his friends. It seems a bit wierd >_>. Hope some people can clarify this for me.

It is true Jio got injured, but wouldn't finding his friends be a priority and finding out what happened to ruby?

I think he thought Ruby had died. He wasn't sure whether anyone had survived at all. However, what he was sure of, was that the village that had saved him was being attacked by Zenom and needed help in the form of power, and that he had power. So, he made a logical decision, he probably decided that he had a larger chance of helping people like this.

I guess that would make sense, but thats not what I would do - but I hope we see other reasons as well.

Just have to say I just started this series 3 days ago and its really good. I like it better than naruto, well actually I like alot of things better than naruto.

Well maybe the reason i'm asking is this - isn't Jio breaking his vows with his friends?

Ahh, yeah. The time skip had it's weak point right here. "They accepted me who was full of sadness." <- from that sentence the reader is expected to understand that Jio probaply almost lost his will to live, felt horrible because of his failure (he couldn't save Ruby) and maybe really thought that all his friends were killed - especially Ruby. And there was no enemy left who caused all the misery and on who take revenge on, so why just sit back and help the new people he met? But notice how his expression changed dramatically when he heard Ruby was alive. (^_^) Before that he wasn't even going to leave because he thought the village's leadership as a greater obligation than going around the world finding O-parts.

but after the accident he did lose his memory right ? of course he wouldnt be able to look for his friends because he already forgotten about them. Its only until Ball found him then it unlocked his "forgotten" memories of his old friends before the accident.

I think you're taking the memory loss too seriously. It's not that important, I think he's just playing a lame joke on Ball. After all, he says he knows Kirin and Jajamaru.
