Don't they show his true form on the first page of the first chapter?

yup, buy the author might change that, we sometimes see a big ugly thing in the backgroud or in flash backs that is also satan, but i hope thats like, form 2/3 or something, beacuse i dont like it ^^

We also saw that form when Jio fought Icaros. Satan came out and for a moment Icaros realised the level of power that he had (he envisaged a giant Satan dwarfing even him).

But you're right, it's most likely the author will change the appearance, after all there's no element of surprise the way things are. It's also likely it will be far beyond anything we've seen/imagined so far. Cross most definitely won't be able to handle him.

Stea creates the copies of angels with some DNA thingy but not the real angels.

So Michael and Hamiel that were shown in the manga were copies??? Well not Michael atleast, it was mentioned specifically that he was an original.

So far we seen only one angel replica -- Michael's, on OPT tourament in the flying city.
It is safe to assume, that Hamiel (angel, whose sealing we seen, right?) is original -- since there is no sense on sealing copy onto Kabal.

Angels nor devils were created by stea. They were brought from the blue planet. The angels can take human form but in order to evolve back into angels they need the solomons key. Its really like two seperate entities in the same body. Demons possess people in some way or another. So i think the main difference between angels and demons is the fact that demons possess the person, they are their own entity before they possess somebody. The angels can turn themselves into humans and re-evolve into angels. I think thats one of the main reasons cross can remember his fights form when he turns into an angel because its kinda like same body but two parts to the soul wheras with the demons i think its same body but two seperate souls reside within one body. (And i think tye giant bug lookin thing with 666 on its head is satans real form, and i hope we NEVER EVER EVER get to see satans real form because that would mean that jio's consciousness would completely dissapear.) And i do not realize why anybody would not want jio-dono to live on. He way more righteous than satan. Its because of satan that jio has to face all the heartache that he does. But thats just my opinion.

the OPTs are the descendents of the conquerers from the blue planet(the otheres are just the normal people i think)
