Thread: is it just me or is it starting to be exactly like naruto in a way

I think you boys have to get over your girl issuse. Just because there is a girl that isn't there for fan shots doesn't make her useless.

yeah i agree just look at the girls in naruto not one of them is for fan shot...

IMO........

the characters in 666 RULE............

but the plot has been presented haphazardly...........

naruto has a handful of kick ass characters..........

but uptil now....uptil before a few volumes..... it's maintained a really good pace as well..............

the time skip is way better in 666 though..... this IS wat a time skip shud be like....... the essence of the character has not been lost.... he's still kickass...........but...different.....

i wudent compare the two ....really..........

they are brothers........ and naruto was kinda of setting a style....... still is.....

and like i said ....the plot is tighter........

not so in 666.....not yet............

Imean damn Jin was BY HIMELF (and with zero too) and is BADASS. .hell he was badass before the time skip. . .I'd say this is on par or even better than hxh (before it got all lame and they made another cell saga in which I stopped reading. . .)

S6 is hands down the best thing out there.

Easy tiger!!!! Although 6S is better than Naruto, I'm sorry but there's no way Kirin would own Jiraiya. The number and range of perverted tehniques that ero-sennin has at his disposal is beyond imagination. Look at the way Itachi/Kisame ran away from him. Jiraiya did about 20 hand seals in a split second. When his chakra was depleted from the poison from Tsunade, he still summoned Gamabunta and did that 'Swamp of the Underworld' jutsu (awesome jutsu).
Jiraiya and Orochimaru are awesome characters. Never know though, Kirin's eye may pull out some spectacular moves yet. I just don't think he's as cool as the New York Times No. 1 Best-Selling Perverted author, Jiraiya-Sama.

I read thru this thread and i soooo agree whit lots of you.

At first it also hit me how similar it was to Naruto ( and in my oppinion a bit DB ), but i found this series more appealing to me now then Naruto is...i been feeling kinda "put off" whit it latley.

And after the timeskip it hit me how good the drawing was and how so "not-alike" Jio and Naruto are.

Naruto is wery retarded sometimes, pinns after Sakura like his life depended on it, and his clothing in my oppinion plain sucks.

Jio is the direct opposit off it...thats how i feel a main character should be..."cool", good looking, and quite the ladiesman.

And i always preferd a bit of a lovething in the manga....to me it adds some spice to the story.And in 666 it has been alot more focus in it then Naruto.

Where as Naruto chases Sakura, she bashes him ( read, beating the shit out off him ) and where Hinata faints just as fast as as he comes near.....lame...

I probabaly have more to say but i'll just leave it as this.

Look! in the beginning, 666 satan was the clone of Naruto. all the characters,the scenes, the moments closely ressembled Naruto's. But in part 2, Seishi K., has been trying to distance 666 satan from Naruto. Plus look at Ruby, she is clear better drawn than Sakura.

It's still far from distancint itself but it's gettin there.

S6 has steadily and consistently improved from the beginning of the manga. It has gone from strength to strength and the time skip was brilliantly done. The characters have developed (Jio and Ball have clearly developed and we'll probably see other characters' development as more chapters are released), the plot continues to become more complex and the story leaves us gasping for more after every chapter.

Naruto these days is pathetic in comparison. Naruto manga is getting lamer and lamer by the second. Just this week Akatsuki reveal their dastardly plan...to take over the world. This was so lame that my friends sent several sarcastic emails about 'an exciting new plot twist'. It is sooo pathetic after building Akatsuki up for so long. Anyway, that's just the latest in a long line of examples of Naruto no longer being able to make us vie for the next chapter like it once did (and like S6 continues to do so).

Naruto and S6 may have had strong similarities (Seishi may have blatantly ripped his older bro off for all I care) but I'm damn glad that S6 is moving firmly in a different direction now. And it looks like it will continue to do so.


BTW...anyone else see similarities between this and MAR? similar age/sized main star; O-Parts & Arms; Time skips; Cross & Alviss; Kirin & Alan (super-tough protector type figures)...
Well, S6 is way darker. MAR has a light-hearted fantastical atmosphere. And again, like for the naruto scenario, I'm not bothered because 6S is way better.

666Satan is probably one of the MOST UNoriginal series I have ever read (but I read it anyways -_-) There is sooo much stuff that is taken from elsewhere it's ridiculous. Naruto is different because the whole concept is radically different from everything before it (at least everything mainstream), although many details are very stereotypical, the whole idea is original. 666Satan just looks like a combination of a whole bunch of anime/manga/game (notice the ideas that were jacked from FF7 in the latest chapters?) story lines that came before it, AND combined it with some bastardized (dictionary definition, not derogatory) version of Kaballah.
