I read all this that Naruto and this are simillar not really, I can name like so many mangas that are simillar to 66, and Naruto. In most manga the guy like wants to be the strongest in the world or something like that and then has to travel or fight guys all around the world and gain power when he isn't strong enough, blah, blah. The Ruby, Sakura thing is simillar but again that same scene is so normal. In Ranma akane did something like that, ran in the middle of a Ranma Ryuoga final attack. I mean I could go on. The whole combo thing, Well I can name some other sources where guys do combos and they start calling it as they do it, just like Naruto Rendan and that 6, 6, 6 rendan. Then the fact that they are kids. okay Goku and a slew of other characters where kids. make Goku from Dragon Ball(not Z for people that don't truely know and apperciate Dragon Ball) and give him the dream of world domination and their you go. ITs simillar. its not hard if you mix and match. The manga's are different but like all and most manga's they are the same. I find 6,6,6 closer to a one piece meets Bleach.

and there are those anime common grounds: Like kid find the best mech ever but it works like crap and a girl apperes that can make it even better (Demonbane, Manga version of "Esca" ,E7 and countless others)

That's right it's all simillar and you know 666 rendan, hell its pretty damn close. LMAO, yeah he hasn't done that move in an insanely long time, oh yeah it wasn't his move but satan.

Personaly i thought 666 is more similar to dragonball than naruto but then again both brothers and many other mangaka have been inspired by DB. I thought that a boy meeting a blue haired girl who happens to be looking for items which grant great power it similar to goku meeting Bulma (also has blue hair) and going on a quest for the dragonballs (o-parts). Also both naruto and jio have a a horrible power inside of them which takes the form of a uncotrollable monster, they probablly got this idea from when Goku would turn into a giant super monkey in the orginal DB series. Thats really where the similarties end whith 666 but Naruto has more, both Narutos and Gokus mentors were nicknamed Hermets and are both perverts and finally Naruto had the same coloured clothes as Goku did (but not anymore).

Well, O-parts and the items in flame of recca are simillar to lots of manga's and games.

I agree to the fact that 666 takes more of a DB path whereas Naruto follows more of a DBZ path, because 666 has much more adventure than Naruto like DB had than DBZ...the fight between Cross and Jio was only like the roof fight because of a girl running to stop them, the only similarity. Both of them respect each other and their strengths, saying, "hey, you're pretty strong." "you too." Sasuke didnt want to accept Naruto's strength cuz Naruto is a certified Dobe who cant grow stronger. Hence he runs away...

KT's back in the building anyway the main difference bettween 666 and db's in the fact of collecting stuff as well as other things.... the ruby's father is dead and was reasearching into O-parts and O-parts you can't use unless your an O.P.T which is .005 of the human pouplations also ruby's a weak/non-opt (she has shown signs of being one but at the same time it might just be the o-part she wears) and you can't make a gather 7 O-parts and make a wish and then they scatter in 7 different directions.

Anyway Jio acts goofy like Naruto and Goku but has a much much sadder story then both put together because even if you want to call wolf Zero his "iruka" or "grampa gohan" he was forced to not olny train his body to keep up he had to abondon his dying 'sensei' ,who might be that chew bone with a crack in it that kirin has let's see naruto "believe it" about iruka or goku think about that if that happened to grandpa gohan and even with that jio kept moving from place to place on his own with just a boomrang.

Um, let me see.

1. I think that Naruto has better art than 666satan. The Lines are cleaner and the faces are more detailed.

2. I think 666satan's story is more fun that Naruto's it has that Dragon Ball feel that I really love.

3. I don't think it is really fair to compare them.

I read both 666 Satan and Naruto, and I have heard a lot of this "they are the same thing" stuff and I'm sick of it. People seem to want to think that just because the manga-ka are brothers that they have the same style. I also hear a lot of crap that says that K. Seishi ripped off his brother's style. I find this to be utter shlock. As I find the two series to be completely different. And I know it was said earlier, but many maga titles use the plot device of a young male protagonist seeking power (DBZ, Bleach, Death Note, Kekkaishi, Eyeshield 21, Mr. Fullswing, Naruto, Satan 666, Flame of Recca, Yu Yu Hakusho, and many more.) You could almost say that that idea is the backbone of the shonen industry.
